V. Rebecca Marrone

Rebecca Marrone joined MSL in 2022 and serves as a Senior Consultant. She has worked in the healthcare industry for more than 25 years. Her diverse background spans from teaching to clinical and consultative services in hospital organizations. She has proficiency in advancing patient safety and quality improvement efforts to reduce hospital acquired conditions, patient harm, patient grievances, and fostering an organizational culture of high reliability. Before becoming a consultant, Rebecca served in leadership and management roles in Regulatory Compliance and Infection Prevention and Control. Her expertise also includes clinical proficiency in Women and Children’s Services, Emergency Services, Forensic Nursing, and Performance Improvement. She is also certified as a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma and a TeamSTEPPS instructor.
Rebecca has served as an instructor for Maryland’s Health Care Education Institute and the Maryland Patient Safety Center on Joint Commission topics and Root Cause Analysis. She has presented various topics at national conferences for the American Nurses Association, National Database for Nursing Quality Indicators, and Premier’s Breakthroughs Conference. Rebecca received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Western Governor’s University, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Hood College and is pursuing a master’s degree in Nursing Leadership. She is a current Healthcare Accredited Certified Professional and Certified Healthcare Manager.
